ParticipantHello,
We just launched a site and the events pages stopped working. All category and main event listing pages are blank and say “no posts match your crieteria” even though there are hundreds of events in there. Single event URLs still work, but are messed up looking. We’ve deactivated all plugins to check for conflicts and there don’ts seem to be any.
UPDATE: After looking through the forums, it’s a problem with 3.0 and Canvas. That was really sloppy, guys. You offer Woo Tickets and Canvas is the flagship Woo theme. You’ve gotta vet updates better and send out pre-emptive newsletters that warn people what they need to change after updating, and not to update until they’re ready.

ParticipantI don’t know if this has to do with anything, but the main plugin won’t hold onto our pro license. It says that there’s an update, I go and enter the license key and it verifies, and then when I navigate away from that page it says that the key needs to be entered again. I’ve done it like 3 times.

MemberHi Christina,
Sorry for the problems – I think you’re already monitoring another thread where there is a discussion of this problem so I won’t repeat the current status of our investigation into Canvas here 🙂
I would however take issue with your assertion that we’ve been sloppy here – as a huge amount of preparatory work and testing went into this release including an extensive beta testing phase where real users put the plugin through its paces. Even so, it just isn’t possible to catch everything and, popular as Canvas may be (and we did in fact test against a number of products by WooThemes), it is just one of many popular themes with numerous different versions in circulation. In fact, based on some testing following Rob’s request for support here we may not even have caught it supposing we did test explicitly against Canvas.
That said we are working to fix this and if you can provide any additional information (per my notes to Rob in this thread) then that would definitely be appreciated.
I don’t know if this has to do with anything, but the main plugin won’t hold onto our pro license.
That’s strange. You noted when you opened the thread that you were using the following versions of our plugins:
“3.0 main plugin, 2.0.11 pro plugin”
That will not mesh well, they both need to be in synch – so please update the PRO plugin to the latest version before continuing (as that is likely to cause problems with our update/licensing engine).
Thanks!
