MemberHI Catherine,
Thanks for reaching out to us, and sorry to hear about this issue you are experiencing!
I’m mostly sure this is related to a known bug some other users reported the past days. A fix for this is being developed and will be included in a upcoming maintenance release coming out soon.
Can you try to downgrade and see if this get’s fixed?
Sorry for the incovinience this might be causing to you,
Best,

ParticipantI have been following this thread. I just wanted to let you know that the same JS error is still there after my most recent update. Though, it is possible that the last update may have come out earlier than this issue was reported.
Thanks.

MemberHi Miah,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
Can you please open up a new thread for this? Having just a user/issue per thread usually makes them move faster. When creating the new thread please be sure to Test for conflicts and include you system information, that will surely help getting a better answer. You can also include a link to this thread if you want.
Thanks,

ParticipantCatherine,
It turns out after the last update, a number of methods and code snippets were changed within the theme files and my custom theme files retained the older/outdated code.
In my case, the issue was related to my custom theme code located within my “theme_folder/tribe-events/…” directory. I was able to test this by switching to a default theme such as TwentyFifteen. It worked in the default theme since there are no custom ‘tribe-events’ folder in a default theme, which points to the fact that the custom files had outdated code.
So, I did a compare between the versions of the same files (mine and the original plugin files). I then brought over the specific changes (new methods and PHP calls) to my theme files. This resolved my issue.
Hope this helps.

Member@Catherine,
Sorry to hear this is still an issue 🙁 Next release is coming out first week September – please bear in mind this date is an estimate and the release can be re-scheduled. Meanwhile you can download any of the previous versions at this page: Top menu > My Account > Downloads… select the appropriate version from each product’s dropdown.
Also can you try @Miah suggestion? A quick test, renaming the /tribe-events/ inside your theme folder -or switching to WordPress Tweentyfifteen theme- should be enough to see if your case is the same as @Miah’s or not. Please let me know if you can test this out.
@Miah thanks a lot for your suggestion, and glad to hear you could work this out.
