ParticipantOn my event calendar/single event/organizer/venue pages, the main menu links are all broken except for the event calendar page link. On all other pages, nav menu works correctly.
On the calendar page, nav source code is:
<li id=”menu-item-1220″ class=”menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page menu-item-has-children menu-item-1220 dropdown”>Visiting
<ul role=”menu” class=” dropdown-menu”>
<li id=”menu-item-1234″ class=”menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page menu-item-1234″>Things to DoOn other pages (working correctly):
<li id=”menu-item-1220″ class=”menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page menu-item-has-children menu-item-1220 dropdown”>Visiting
<ul role=”menu” class=” dropdown-menu”>
<li id=”menu-item-1234″ class=”menu-item menu-item-type-post_type menu-item-object-page menu-item-1234″>Things to DoAs you can see, in the first example, the list items are specified as links but have no destination.
When I click on one of these “non links” from the event calendar page I am taken to http://amadorchamber.com/events/undefined
Tested in Safari and Firefox, results the same in both.

ParticipantHey @Bud,
How are these menus generated? Are you just using the built-in Menu system in Appearance > Menus in your wp-admin?
Next: do you have any customizations in place here, any custom calendar template files for example?
Finally, if possible – any chance you can activate a default theme like Twenty Twelve or something, then re-build the menus and see how things behave?
Thank you!

ParticipantYes, just the standard main menu in my theme
Only customization as far as I understand your question is a modification to make organizer emails display as links. Instructions were supplied by one of your guys. Plus a few custom css rules to tweak calendar appearance. I’m 99% sure this problem existed prior to that.
I just tried changing the theme to twenty fifteen and the problem persisted.

ParticipantThanks for the update Bud, and your willingness to activate the Twenty Fifteen theme. I’m curious – can you proceed with the plugin-related deactivation steps outlined here? → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
This may seem tedious but is, fortunately, much quicker to work through than it seems. And this is an important step because I still can’t recreate the problem or think of a why “undefined” would be appended to those URLs unless there was some weird JavaScript conflict from a plugin or something…the debug process I linked above will help reveal or rule out such a conflict.
Thanks for your patience here – let us know what you find if you can test your plugins!

ParticipantTurning off plugins one at a time showed that a conflict lies with the RDP Wiki-Press Embed plugin.

ParticipantThanks for the update Bud – this is great to know and, though conflicts can be frustrating, a great step in the direction of getting things fixed on your site.
Your best course of action from here is to contact the developer and/or support team of that plugin and see if they can help out with this issue. At the very least, they should be able to take the bug report and get a fix out in the near future hopefully.
I’m sorry that there’s been a code conflict on your site – glad we found the source of it though. Let me know if there’s anything else I can help with!

ParticipantI’ve posted about this issue on the wiki plugin’s support forum, hopefully I’ll get a response.
I tried a workaround, installing a plugin called plugin organizer which allows me to deactivate plugins on a per post type basis. I deactivated the wiki plugin on tribe_events, tribe_venue and tribe_organizer posts. Sorry to report that it made no difference.

ParticipantThanks for trying that out at all Bud, and for reporting your findings!
I’ll close up this thread for now since the conflict lays with the Wiki plugin – I hope you’re able to get things working on your site.
If other issues arise with The Events Calendar or Events Calendar Pro, come back and open a new thread any time!
Cheers,
