GuestI have the events calendar and I have some questions that may direct my need to purchase the pro version.
I am in the process of building 4 sites on a single domain. It’s three ‘sub-brands’ of a single brand. My needs for their calendar and events are very specific.
The version of your plug-in that I have now only allows a single calendar. I have not been able to make this single calendar show up in shortcodes across different pages. I also have not discovered a way to filter the categories of what events actually show up on this calendar.
My needs are these:
I need either a single calendar that I can show multiple of across different pages with the option to filter the events that show up on each of those individual pages.
Or
I need to be able to have multiple calendars, one for each page.
A note about this, is these/this calendar has to be placed on my own wordpress page via shortcode, because on my particular site, I have a lot of css customization from having multiple brands.
I’d like to know if I’m missing anything on the free version of the plug-in that allows me to do this? Or if I’m not, will the paid version of the plug-in allow me to meet my specific needs above?
Thank you in advance for your response. I apologize if this was difficult for me to articulate. It’s uniquely challenging on my end.

ParticipantHey Chelsea,
Thanks for reaching out.
The Events Calendar is indeed a bit limited in terms of being used on multiple different locations — Events Calendar Pro offers shortcodes and other methods.
To be clear, though, you can only ever have one “body” of events. You cannot have actually separate calendars, but can present different events based on category, etc., using the [tribe_events] shortcode in Events Calendar Pro.
To learn more about the methods available for the things you describe here, check out this knowledgebase article → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/can-you-have-multiple-calendars/
I hope that article helps—let me know if there’s anything else I can try to help based on that!
Sincerely,

Thanks so much!
