GuestHi:
Regarding Multi-sites:
It seems here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/multisite-license/ that you are saying if we do manual updates, we would not need to purchase a multi-site license for our multi-site configuration which includes a main .edu site and sub-sites (generally by campus). Please confirm if I’m reading this correctly:“?If you only want to use our plugin on a handful of sub-sites (10 or fewer) and are willing to perform manual updates, then you do not need a multisite license. In this case you can purchase a Personal license (for 1 sub-site), Business license (for 2-3 sub-sites) or an Agency license (for 4-10 sub-sites).”
Regarding Dev and Test Sites:
Our url configuration for our dev and test sites are dev-UNIVERSITY….. and test-UNIVERSITY… not “.dev…” and “.test…”. It seems that because this is the case, were we to purchase an Event Calendar Pro Multi-site License, we would need to actually purchase three, so the cost would be not $349, but $1,047. This seems like a pretty significant penalty to pay because our host requires a configuration different than a “.dev” and “.test”. Please advise.
Thank you!

MemberHi Vernon
How many sub-sites will you be using the calendar on when they are live? This will help us determine which license level you need. Do note, without a mutlisite license, you must update the plugin manually each time.
In Using One License for Live and Dev Sites https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-one-license-live-dev-sites/, we do specify which domain structures that we currently support for staging sites.
If your site doesn’t match the criteria, you can still use the plugin. You will need to manually run updates, the license may not register (or you could register it there while building and later Move Your License Key https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/. If you need to contact support during that time, please manually send in your System Info.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
