ParticipantHi,
I am currently using the last version of Events Calendar PRO (4.4.17).
In the single page of recurring events, when I move the mouse over the “Recurring event” text, a box listing all the recurrences appears. In this box, everything is correctly translated except the date (e.g., 20 October 2017). Is there some way to get this date translated?
Thank you!

MemberGood morning Oscar and welcome to the Events Calendar Support forum!
Thank you for reaching out to us.
We are sorry to hear about the translations missing from that part of your calendar.
I would love to help you with this topic. As a first troubleshooting step, could you please provide us with your complete system information in a private reply using the instructions found in the following link?
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/sharing-sys-info/
Secondly, this list is not typically a feature that is built-in with our plugins.
I am pretty sure this comes from a customization within your WordPress theme. It is possible that the customization did not take translation into account. Without seeing the code, it is a bit hard to say.
Could you please send me a copy of the latest version of your WordPress theme / child theme via a link to a .zip file link (stored Dropbox or Google Drive) so that I can run some tests on my end ? I recommend a private reply for that purpose.
Please ensure you are using the latest files as found on your actual website.
This way I will get access to any updates or customizations you might have made. Finally, when it comes to translation of months, there are are 3 possible sources:
- the Events Calendar language files
- the Events Calendar Pro language files
- WordPress language files
As you can guess, the translations should be present in each of these locations for things to go smoothly.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

MemberGood evening Oscar,
Thank you for writing back and for the system information.
Since you are using WPML, I highly recommend reading and using the following guides:
- https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/creating-translations-for-events-using-wpml/
You will be specifically interested in the Translating date and time format section of the first article.
Depending on your current WPML setup, you might have to search in string translation for month names. Some of these translations do not come from our language files but rather from WordPress itself.
To be safe, make sure every occurence of month strings are translated.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
