ParticipantWhen trying to access the Monthly Calendar on the front-end the page takes a really long time to load and only loads the html wrapper (header, content, footer) but nothing within the area where the monthly grid should be.
The event list which loads fine is located here:
http://www.liveoakpl.org/programs/The Monthly “Calendar View” page that does not work:
http://www.liveoakpl.org/programs/month/I’ve tried deactivating all other plugins, reactivating the Twenty Sixteen theme, and renaming the tribe-events theme customization folder to tribe-events-bak with no avail.
Thanks for your help.

MemberGood evening Robin and welcome back!
Thank you for reaching out to us and for the system information.
We are sorry to hear about the event page not displaying properly on your website.
I would love to help you with this topic. The first thing that I would recommend is to deactivate Event Rocket.
Although this was a great plugin, it is known to break with the Events Calendar plugins 4+ at different levels.
I would also recommend trying to go to Events -> Settings -> Display and try different settings for the Events template dropdown menu.
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,

ParticipantHello again, thanks for your assistance but this issue is still happening after trying your suggestions.
I ran through my server error logs and cleaned up some other issues in functions.php to make sure I am only getting error related to the events calendar and this is currently the only error I am seeing in the logs:
[06-Aug-2016 02:04:16 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded in /…/public_html/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/Tribe/Template/Month.php on line 634
So it appears the page is timing out and if this is the only real issue could you let me know what the recommended php max_execution_time variable or php.ini variable setting should be?
Thanks!

MemberGood evening Robin,
I’m sorry to hear your issues are still persisting.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure (preferably in a staging/dev environment or local install of your WordPress website) and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
As a note, this include theevents calendar: shortcodes version 999 by modern tribe, inc & nicasio, llc.
I have not seen this plugin in action for a long time. I actually think you might no longer need it.The timeout setting does not have to be higher than on a normal install. That being said, you might want to ensure that you have at least 96MB allocated to WordPress memory either in your php.in or in wp-config.php (depending on your server).
Finally, I suggest giving a shot to the “enable caching” for the monthly view under Events -> Settings -> Display
Let me know how that goes.
Best regards,
