ParticipantIn month view on this calendar, http://bluegiraffe30a.com/events/
it shows “power of journaling” at the top of the calendar. This event does not occur until December. How can I get it to not show at the top of the June calendar?June 29, 2017 at 8:35 am #1312018Courtney
MemberHello Aaron
Can you check Events » Settings » Display » Advanced Template Settings » Add HTML before event content and be sure that no content is there?
I am wondering where that event link is coming from.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Courtney! Thanks for the help.
Checked and there’s nothing there.
I added a “here” to see where it would go.
Attached 2 screenshots showing where “here” ended up.June 29, 2017 at 12:48 pm #1312528aaron sutton

MemberHi Aaron
That is very odd!
Can you start by going through our Testing for Conflicts Guide https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/? I am wondering if you might have a plugin or theme conflict. Begin by deactivating all other plugins, using a theme such as Twenty Seventeen https://wordpress.org/themes/twentyseventeen/, and see if the issue still persists. Also, double check for any other updates available (Dashboard » Updates).
Finally, can you put that event into draft mode and see if it or another event displays in that place again?
Please let me know if the issue still persists after these tests.
Thanks

ParticipantCourtney,
With further research, it appears that whatever is the last event on the calendar is what replaces that text. and yes, it goes away if i switch to a different theme. How do I fix this in the theme?

MemberHi Aaron
I’m sorry this is happening. Can you reach out to your theme developer and share what is happening? I’m hoping they have some insight into this.
Thanks
