Hi,
I have the Events Calendar Pro and WPML installed. My WordPress runs English (US) as default language, and I have activated German as a second language.
While some of the strings translate on the /events page, I miss the translation of week day names and month names on the /events page and in the Events Calendar widget. They only show up in English.
I found on the web and on the forums that Events Calendar uses translation of these strings offered by WordPress core. So, I really wonder why these strings don’t show up. Can you please help me?
Please note that I cannot deactivate my current theme (X theme, it would crash the site as I am using Cornerstone) and also not WPML (as I then cannot switch languages).

Finally, you are right, the translation of date should happen at the WordPress level (in combination with WPML). Could you give the following a read and see if that helps:
