We have updated our website to Weaver Xtreme for a responsive mobile friendly website. The default view for the calendar is set to Monthly. I just found the setting for “default Mobile view” and changed it to Weekly. We have tried it on our different mobile phones and it does not change from Monthly view. How can we make it respond to the Weekly view on mobile devices? Also setting the default view for the calendar to Weekly broke the background (changed from sandstone to blue) in the calendar. See attached .jpg image.
We do not fiddle with the underlying code on our site so we will have to send your instructions to our webmaster. Thank You

Thanks so much for reaching out!
I’m sorry to hear that this functionality isn’t working for you right now!
As a first step, I’d recommend updating your PHP version. As per our system requirements, we recommend a PHP version of 5.4 and above.
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime

We have changed our PHP to 5.6. The setting for view on mobile devices is
still set at Week with no change on mobile phones.I changed the setting to Day also and there was still no change.
What would you suggest next?
February 13, 2018 at 5:39 am #1451547Jaime MarchwinskiKeymasterHi Jack,
Thanks for giving that a try!
As a next step, let’s try to rule out if there is some type of conflict at play.
This is usually because of:1. A conflict with another plugin
2. A conflict with your WordPress theme
3. A template customization for the Events Calendar that requires updating
When it comes to that type of issue, it is preferable to troubleshoot in a staging environment if you have one.
A first quick test is to simply temporarily revert back to a default WordPress theme such as twenty-sixteen to see if the issue persists.
The next step would be to go through our testing for conflicts procedure and let us know what you find out.
Basically the goal here is to revert back to a bare WordPress installation to see if the problem persists. It also allows us to pinpoint what the cause of the issue is.
But, before you do that, there are 2 things I would advise:
1. Make a backup of your database
2. Consider activating a “Maintenance Page” plugin if you are doing this on your live site (to minimize impact on your visitors)
Let me know how that goes!
Thanks,
Jaime
