    First off, I know this was resolved, AND this snippet found here:

    Fixed the issue (in general). My question is, I saw this was a submitted as a bug; I was just curious if the fix was going to make it into an update at any point, or if I should keep this snippet “locked and loaded.”

    That’s a great question.

    I went ahead and checked where this stands in the release schedule.

    The good news is that it is going through the Dev cycle and should be out in one of the upcoming maintenance releases.
    Unfortunately, I cannot commit to a release date for a fix at this point.

    Yeah, its been a while since I’ve had an issue I couldn’t figure out (so kudos to you). Good to know, and I will keep an eye on the change logs to see if it gets added.
