Missing Menu Items

Hi,

I seem to have the same problem as described in this post:

MISSING MENU ITEMS- Also SHORTCODE OPTION?

1. I’ve just purchased the ical importer.
2. I installed the free version of the plugin on our dev site and it worked fine with the ical importer
3. I installed the free version of the plugin on the live site and only have ‘Tags’ and ‘Settings’ from the menu, not the ‘Add new’, etc.

I’ve disabled all other plugins and swapped to a default theme (2015) and still hasn’t worked.
Any ideas?

Hi – FYI I’ve figured out the problem. Probably worth making a note of in case it crops up for other people. I had ‘User Role Editor’ installed and even though I was admin it didn’t add correct permissions for all the ‘edit_private_tribe_*’ etc and therefore was not appearing int he menu,

So the two plugins don’t seem to play together well out the box.
Finally, to get the ‘import’ menu item appearing I also needed to add ‘import’ to the admin role.

I am glad to see you were able to figure it out.

I use both plugins and have no run into that issue before. I will keep on the look out for other reports of this.
