Saulo
ParticipantHi,
I am trying to create a weekly event on every Friday as follows:
Start Date & Time: 2016-05-20 @ 20:00
End Date & Time: 2016-05-20 @ 22:00Recurrence Rules: Every Week and will end Never
The problem is for the first two months, there are 3 missing entries!
The missing entries are:
– 2016-May-27 Friday
– 2016-June-03 Friday
– 2016-June-10 FridayThe following months seem to be populated correctly.
Let me know if screenshots would help.

ModeratorHi and welcome to the forums 🙂
Thank you for choosing PRO! I would be happy to help you out.
To start, do the events appear after following the instructions outlined in our Testing for conflicts guide?
Let me know and we’ll continue troubleshooting from there. Thanks again and have a good day.

ParticipantHi Hunter,
It looks like there is a conflict with WPML Multilingual CMS (version 3.3.8). When it is active, the issue I described in my original post arises.
What would be the next step in troubleshooting?
Thanks

ModeratorWelcome back,
Glad to hear you’ve identified the source of conflict! Luckily, we’ve got a logged bug at priority 1 (top priority) planned that can hopefully solve the issue. I’ve attached this thread for the developers to reference during a fix. Hang tight and keep and eye on your wp-admin and theeventscalendar.com/blog for maintenance release info. My apologies for not having a workaround in the mean time.

ParticipantHi Hunter,
I had followed the steps from that knowledgebase article prior to reporting this issue.
To double-check, I applied those steps to our Staging environment. I got an even worse result:
– there is only on instance in May (as is in the Production environment)
– the entire months of June and July are empty
– on August and forward the instances are correctly created.I then turned off translation of “Events”, “Organizers”, and “Venues” under the Custom Posts section (on the Translation Management page of WPML) an the issue has disappeared.
I don’t think I have a particularly unusual setup. It seems it’s just a incompatibility issue between The Events Calendar PRO and WPML.
Any idea as to what is going on?
Thanks

ModeratorHey Saulo,
Thank you so much for running through the provided resource. While you were doing that, I spent a bit more time investigating and upon doing so located a bug relating to the issue you’re experiencing.
Unfortunately I don’t have a solution in the interim but we are hard at work and hopefully can come up with a fix in the next maintenance release. Stay tuned to your wp-admin and theeventscalendar.com/blog for release info and have a great upcoming weekend 🙂

MemberHey Saulo,
Great news! After a lot of work and effort, we were able to make recurring events compatible with WPML. Our development and QA teams signed off on the feature in Events Calendar PRO 4.3 after working closely with the WPML team to make sure things were working well.
Thanks so much for your patience while we worked on this. We know it has been a long-running item everyone’s wishlist and we couldn’t be more excited to finally get it into your hands.
Cheers,
Geoff -
