ParticipantIt was working fine until some recent update. Calendar events appear in the main view, so they’re not missing.
Set up for 3 events in the list. Removed and re-added the widget but that didn’t help.
tribe-mini-calendar-wrapper div does contain a tribe-mini-calendar-list-wrapper div, which contains a tribe-events-loop div, which contains 3, empty divs with several classes, including type-tribe_events

ParticipantHowdy Bob,
That is strange. We did slightly change the way our CSS works in 3.9.1, but that was to fix a bug that was introduced in 3.9.0. You did not use any snippets or make any changes since 3.9.0 did you, to fix that bug? If so, can you disable them?
If the above does not apply to you, then we need to isolate the problem further. Could you try a conflict test (click here)? That should help us learn a lot more about the issue.
Let me know if you have any questions. Cheers!

ParticipantI have the same problem on our website, with the widget
Since updating we can only see events for the month
Its not showing events for the next month.
is there a way around this?
Latest Version: 3.9.1January 27, 2015 at 10:22 pm #938355Brook
ParticipantInteresting petermcgrath. Are you also runnign the theme LivingOS_Xi?
Either way my advice would be the same as the above, does a conflict test help isolate the issue? Also, if you can please open a new topic. Feel free to link to this one for backstory. But as per our forum rules we do our best to keep our topics to one issue per person, that way each person gets our undivided attention.
Cheers!

ParticipantThe problem definitely existed with 3.9.0 as well, that’s why we upgraded to 3.9.1.
Will try the conflict test when I get a chance.

ParticipantOk, switching to the Twenty Fourteen theme made the widget work correctly again.
Doesn’t look like CSS, though, because the content just isn’t there (rather than CSS hidden).

ParticipantOk, I moved the grid.php and list.php from my theme’s tribe-events/widgets/mini-calendar directory, and the widget is working again.
It’s been so long that I honestly don’t remember whether I had customized those or whether they were created automatically.
(I know I really, really want a way to exclude a particular category from that widget, so it’s possible I tried it that way.)

ParticipantThanks for the updates, Bob. Glad to hear you got it fixed.
Just so you know with the PRO plugin in the last year we added the ability to filter categories from the widget, by being able to select which categories are visible:

Since your original issue is resolved I am going to archive this topic. Thanks again for updating us!
