Mini calendar grid (not list) only displaying events in current month

Hi,

I’m having a problem with the mini calendar widget in that the dots/links that are added to the calendar grid to indicate the presence of events on particular days only seems to work for the current month.

ie, I have one event in July (the current month) and this shows up OK on the grid; I have two events in August, and if I use the arrows at the top of the grid to move forward to August, the whole month is blank – no dots anywhere – but they ARE displayed in the list beneath the grid. So they are being found, just not displayed on the calendar grid.

I have a custom page template that calls a sidebar, in which is my standard Events Cal Pro events widget. I gather there are no issues at this level because it displays the calendar fine for July – it’s only once I switch to the next month that I don’t get events.

I haven’t been able to do full testing yet – am in the process of setting up a test site.

Wondering if you knew whether there was anything in terms of the event set-up/details that might prevent events being shown there.

Perhaps my knowledge is limited but I wouldn’t have thought it was a conflict causing this – isn’t the calendar display simply a matter of finding the events with a database query and outputting the right HTML for the grid? I don’t see how that could be affected by other plugins of the theme. Plus, it works fine for July events.

Any ideas on this issue?

I’ve added a second event to July and these are both showing with dots on the mini calendar grid.
No events in later months are showing.

Hey Peter,

Thank you for posting and welcome to the support forums! What you’re describing sounds like a conflict coming from either your theme and/or another plugin. The first step here will be to review our Testing for conflicts guide and see if the issue still occurs.
