    Hi Pat,

    Thanks for posting here.

Ok so everything link I see to the css files is blank. So the CDN is not updating the files coming from the staging site.

I believe you would have to turn off the cdn in the staging site only as it will not update the files unless it comes from you live site url.

Once the cdn is off let me know how it looks.

    Thanks

For reference it is in regard to this thread:

Well Brian that’s absolutely correct – it looks fantastic.

So back to ‘live’ site – how should I progress, plugins still all need updating – then turn off cdn there – purge cdn cache – switch cdn back on? Or is there more to do?

    I really appreciate your support

Great glad it is working now.

The Live site should update the cdn correctly.

I would update everything and then check the site. If there is issues then go through the steps to purge the cdn. It should not require you to turn off or on the cdn, but that could be a last resort if everything else did not work.

    Cheers

Ok I’ll resolve tomorrow because of time now to do it – but what you’re saying Brian ironically is that it’s because I tested on a staging site that I thought there were problems? If I’d simply updated on the live site (as I will in the morning) it may well have been fine all along 🙂

    Thanks

    Pat

    Hi Brian/Support

Issue mainly fixed – it works on live site – except month view contains ‘raw code’ lines and has removed sidebar from the page completely

    Many thanks

    Pat

    Hi,

I see the issue on the month view.

Do you have any custom templates in your theme in this directory:

    yourtheme/tribe-events/

If so you may have to update them with the change to 3.10.

If not it could be the cdn using an older version of the scripts, does purging the cdn help the issue?

Let me know and we can go from here.

    Thanks

    Hi Brian

I don’t think so – I wouldn’t know how – all I have is a little custom css for the widgets on home page from your site.

I’ve disconnected the cdn completely – problem is using cdn-linker plugin to point to MaxCdn url – when I activate it again it completely stops the theme menu ‘collapsing’ – so I think I may try other ways of speeding up the site rather then MaxCdn

So as you see it there is no cdn, no cache except at host which I flushed through – happy to share ftp if ti makes it quicker for you Brian

    Thanks

    Pat

    Hello,

happy to share ftp if ti makes it quicker for you Brian

    I appreciate the offer!

However, our current policy is not to accept logins or to log in to customer servers/WordPress installations.

I was not able to find any other reports of this issue.

I would recommend going through our Testing For Conflicts Guide:

Testing Conflicts With Themes and Other Plugins

And see if that can help narrow down the cause of the issue here.

Let me know what you find out.

    Thanks
