Metadata "blocks" on single event page?

    Hi,

    Firstly I want to apologies for this post being somewhat of a repeat of a previous post of mine Previous Post but it seems that post has gone AWOL in the system as I haven’t received a reply in several days. I understand you guys can get busy and for that reason I personally do try everything I can to solve my problems myself before submitting a ticket.

    So My original question:

    I’m wondering if there is a simple way to reorder the way metadata is displayed in single events.

    I want to move the “Other” block (which is relating to the additional fields entries, Pro plugin) up under the “Details” block, (free plugin). I’ve attached a screen grab of my single event metadata, note that I have changed the names, so I’m wanting to move “Activity Details” up under “When & Cost”.

    I went through all the support pages looking for an answer to my question and I have read the Themer’s guide. I understand how to create custom templates in the sense of putting a copy of the files in my theme or child theme folder.

    I already knew that the code relating to the additional fields (pro plugin) is located in events-calendar-pro > scr > views > pro > modules > meta > additional-fields.php

    and the standard code (free plugin) is located in the-events-calendar > scr > views > modules > meta > details.php

    I’ve also looked in the single-event.php file but I can’t find anyway to rearrange the order of the “blocks”.

    But I couldn’t find anything on the support pages to indicate how you can rearrange how this metadata is shown on the single event page, hence why I put in a support ticket.

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

    Hey James,

    I apologize for not answering your previous thread sooner, it somehow got lost in translation until today! I’ll go ahead and recap my first response here…

    Essentially, the Avada theme has pre-built customizations for our plugin. I did a little digging but was unfortunately unable to locate any documentation on how to go about moving the sections on your single-event.php page.

    Your best bet in this situation would be to reach out to the Avada support team if you haven’t already to see if they can provide insight on how you’d make your needed customizations.

    I hit avada up with the question and see where it takes me. It’s not super important but would be nice to have all the info in sequential order.

    Go ahead and close both threads.
