ParticipantHi,
For some reason when people fill in the metadata at our website it is not processed right. Here is what happens
1) customer fills in all data BUT leave out a few fields
2) wrong fields are being marked as not filled in (see screenshot)We use the exact same script to fill this in as default. The layout is different but the coding is exactly the same.
Does someone know what the problem is?

ModeratorHey Jacco,
Thanks for reaching out. I unfortunately don’t have an answer off the top of my head nor do I see anything in our logged bug reports resembling what you’ve described. Can you confirm the issue still occurs after reviewing our Testing for conflicts guide? Can you also send a link to an event displaying these types of behaviors? I’d be happy to take a look 🙂
Thanks again and have a great upcoming weekend. Cheers!

ParticipantHi,
Yes we followed your assitance for conflicts and checked what happened when switching off other plugins.
https://www.events4christ.nl/evenement/open-doors-dag-2016/
That is the event. Could you see what happens? I do not see any errors in the code but maybe you do?
Sorry the page is in Dutch 🙂 You might want to use Google Translate if that’s easier for you.

ModeratorJacco,
Thank you for the response. When you say:
Yes we followed your assitance for conflicts and checked what happened when switching off other plugins.
Can you please confirm you’ve tested with only our plugins active and the default WP theme active? We need to rule out both theme and plugin conflicts before going any further. Thanks again and take care. Cheers 🙂

ParticipantSorry for the late reply.
We have done a couple tests.
We have tested with the default theme – same problem.
It seems that if we do not add a question with a radio button the error handling does function correctly. (see screenshot attached to this reply)
When we added a question with radio buttion (see previous screenshot in opening post) we do have the error.
Can you check if you can find what the exact problem is?

ParticipantOK – a little update again. We have done some checks
- we noticed Events Tickets Plus uses the error handling from a browser so we switched off all our own error handling to be sure
- After this it seems that it does not indicate the wrong fields anymore, but if you forget a radion button field it simply does not point to it (it just says please fill in all fields above the merge fields, see screenshot 1)
- If I do fill in the radio button field and forget another field it seems to be handling it correctly (see screenshot 2

ModeratorHello,
Before I test the issue myself, and sorry to ask again, but does the behavior still occur after reviewing the Testing for conflicts guide? This includes disabling the error handling tool you’re using.
Lastly, do you have JavaScript turned off in your browser? Thanks and have a wonderful weekend!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
