Message when trying to upload csv file

    I am trying to upload a csv file of events. The csv file is on my desktop.
    When I click on the “Upload” button, I get this message:
    {“success”:false,”data”:{“message”:”Please provide the file that you wish to import.”}}

    I see from your documentation that you say: “We have step-by-step instructions for importing data from a CSV file in another post.”
    This makes me wonder if the csv file needs to somehow be already in WordPress in order for the “Upload” button to work.

    Hi Michael,

    Welcome back! You should have the option to upload a .csv file when you visit Events > Import > CSV File. (see screenshot below)

    I see you’re running the latest versions of TEC and PRO, but can you please review our Testing for conflicts guide and reply back with what you learn? This will help whether a theme and/or plugin conflict is in play and help identify more specifically where the conflict is coming from.

    I downgraded to version 4.3.2 and the import function works correctly.
    It looks like version 4.3.3 breaks the ability to indicate the file to be uploaded.

    Hey Michael,

    Thank you for the update. I imagine you have a theme and/or plugin conflict in play. We don’t have any logged bugs and I’m not experiencing similar behaviors in my own testing. Both version 4.3.2 and 4.3.3 work as expected.

    You can confirm this by reviewing the Testing for conflicts guide and it should help narrow down the source of conflict.
