My client wants to have a “front-end” view to the public and then another PRIVATE view for his staff to be able to check their schedules. Is this possible?

Good evening Rita and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!

Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.

Based on what you are describing, it sound like your client might be interested in the 2 following things:

    1. Our Community Events premium add-on: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-community-events/

This lets people enter and manage their events using the front-end.
By default user see all of their events.

You would simply need to “hide” the global calendar.

    2. Controlling who can view certain events can be accomplished with a plugin such as members: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/admin-roles-and-permissions/

Finally, our plugins are highly customizable.
You might want to read our Themer’s guide to get a sense of how that works.

Let me know if that helps.

    Have a great day!

    Geoff B.

Hey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.

    Thanks so much!
