I have a question about the Event Tickets Plus plugin. At the moment on the site I’m working on, I’m using WooCommerce to display and purchase training courses. I want to set up the events calendar as they’re more events than products and I need the features that your plugin has. The only issue is that I have a membership plugin installed on the website that does other stuff. When a user signs up as a member one of the features is that they get a reduced price for a training course. This works fine at the moment because I installed a wholesale customer plugin (https://wordpress.org/plugins/woocommerce-wholesale-prices/) and the people who have signed up as members get flagged as a subscriber by the membership plugin and then I set the subscribers to have a separate price under the WooCommerce product. Then when these subscribers login to the website they will get the reduced price, and the people who are set as customers get the full price. I’m just wondering if a similar thing can happen with your plugin? I know that I can use WooCommerce to create the tickets, but I see that you create the tickets through the actual event in the admin panel, so it wouldn’t have the option for Wholesale price I’m guessing?

Thanks for getting in touch! While tickets are created through events as you described for Event Tickets Plus, they’ll be stored in the database as individual WooCommerce products, and all order processing and management will be routed through WooCommerce. This means that many (if not most) WooCommerce plugins and extensions will still work as expected with Event Tickets Plus–we’ve had many users report success using WooCommerce Memberships to achieve similar functionality with members-only discounts.
I’d encourage you to try setting up Event Tickets Plus and running some tests to see if everything will work smoothly in your ideal setup!
