Once my members register and fill out their profile information, how do i configure the calendar to display events only specific to the member based on their profile info? I purchased the filter bar but want filtering to happen automatically.

Thanks so much for reaching out!
You can create filtered calendars automatically using categories, but Filter Bar cannot automatically filter calendars based on member profiles.
You can create a Members Only calendar using one of the methods outlined here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/making-members-calendar/
It is possible to create a User-Specific Calendar, but this would require quite a bit of custom code, which is beyond the scope of what we can offer, as outlined in our Support Policy.
To get you started, here is a forum thread where a user asked a similar question. This may be able to point you in the right direction:
https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/user-specific-events-based-on-survey-profile/
And here is our Themer’s Guide, which can show you which templates you may need to edit in order to achieve what you are looking for:

Please let me know if you have any other questions!
Thanks,
Jaime
