maps only show sometimes

Hi:

The site has launched, but I’m finding that the Events Pro Calendar google maps only show in some posts, not in others.

for example, it’s not here:
http://fewjapan.com/event/mac_icloud/
while it is here:
http://fewjapan.com/event/black-stripe-theater-cloud-9-2-2/

both posts have the calendar setting checked,

what are we doing wrong?

Can you confirm you’ve tried all of the following:
1. Are you running the latest version of WordPress?
2. Are you running the latest versions of our plugins (2.0.7)?
3. Have you tried deactivating all other plugins to rule out a conflict?
4. Have you tried reverting to the Twenty Eleven theme to see if it’s something with your theme?
5. Try setting your permalinks to ‘postname’ in Settings > Permalinks?
6. Try refreshing your permalinks by visiting Settings > Permalinks (it does it automatically)?
7. Try increasing the PHP memory for your website: http://www.dailyblogging.org/wordpress/increase-wordpress-memory-limit/?

I’d love to help you solve this issue! It seems like there is something going on with the javascript on that particular page, so we need to try to eliminate all possible causes of conflict first.

Sorry I missed Jonah’s response. Is there a way to track my forum posts?

I just stepped through all of your suggestions and the problem is still there.
1. Are you running the latest version of WordPress?
yes, I’m running WP 3.4
2. Are you running the latest versions of our plugins (2.0.7)?
yes, I’m running EVP 2.7
3. Have you tried deactivating all other plugins to rule out a conflict?
I deactivated everything except The Events Calendar and TECP.
4. Have you tried reverting to the Twenty Eleven theme to see if it’s something with your theme?
Yes, I did.
5. Try setting your permalinks to ‘postname’ in Settings > Permalinks?
I set my permalinks to post name.
6. Try refreshing your permalinks by visiting Settings > Permalinks (it does it automatically)?
I changed .htaccess so that permalinks reset automatically.
7. Try increasing the PHP memory for your website: http://www.dailyblogging.org/wordpress/increase-wordpress-memory-limit/?
I added the script code to my config.php file

I am not a php dev at all, so not sure what to do next: the problem is random, but if my client happens to have it it’ll be a big issue, because they are not tech savvy at all and events are the bread and butter of the organization.

I would be happy to give you the login and let you see what’s wrong.

I decided to delete the post, delete the venue, and re-post the whole thing, and the maps are showing up now. not sure what happened. will keep an eye out if this happens again and ask for more help.

Hi Terri! I’m glad that worked! Sometimes that’s the solution to a lot of things, just to do it again! My cousin who works in tech once told me that’s what her secret was to fixing things 🙂
