Map View Zoomed out Too far

on my map view (which i have set as default) the zoom level is a bit crazy as you can see in the image i’ve provided:

Is there a way to tighten this up. i have searched the forum there seems to a be a few people with this issue. Please let me know if this is something than can be resolved. Sharing my system info just in case that helps.

Hey Kevin,

What do you have for Google Maps default zoom level option found under Events > Settings > General? (see screenshot below)

Also, does the issue still occur when following our Testing for conflicts guide?

My settings appear to be the same as in the image you provided. Default zoom level is 10.

If i switch back to twenty fifteen, will I lose anything? I did once a long time ago and when I switched back all my customizations were lost. Plus i have to do that on my live site as I have not been able to get a dev site working. thoughts?

Hi and welcome back,

You shouldn’t lose anything by simply reverting to the default WP theme. I would recommend backing up just in case as you’ve lost customizations in the past.
