    Hey there,

    I’m using The Events Calendar with Events Calendar Pro and The Events Calendar Filter Bar. After Updating The Events Calendar to 4.6.21 and The Events Calendar Pro to 4.4.30.1 the default Map View on may main events page stopped working. There is no map, just an empty white space where the map should be. There are also no errors in the console and I know for certain my Google Maps API Key is valid (it works on the previous version).

    Additionally the Search Bar has run into some issues as well. After filling in any of the input boxes on the search bar and clicking “Find Events” I am redirecting to a single event page instead of having the results show up on the same page.

    Note: This is a live site and I have rolled the Events Cal Pro back to it’s previous version so visitors aren’t seeing a broken page.

    Hi, Lindsey. Sorry for the delayed reply to you and that you’re experiencing this.

    I haven’t seen anyone else report this behavior so I’d suggest following these recommended troubleshooting steps for your own site:

    Please update to the latest versions of all your Modern Tribe plugins and WordPress core. Of course, we always recommend restorable database and file backups as well as performing modifications first on a staging site before modifying anything on your live/production site.

    Whenever troubleshooting, it’s best to enable WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG (which will create a file on your server at /wp-content/debug.log if there are any WP_DEBUG messages) and share any debug messages you see while visiting Map View.

    If there’s nothing obvious (such as a console error or WP_DEBUG message) pointing you to what might be the problem, please follow our Testing for Conflicts Guide (basically switch to Twenty Seventeen theme and deactivate all plugins and custom code other than Modern Tribe plugins) and see if that helps narrow down the cause of this.

    If you still need assistance with this, please share (or re-share) your System Information (while in Testing for Conflicts Mode) in a Private Reply.

    That will give me a lot of extra information to help troubleshoot this.

    Yes, tried all those things and the issue is that when we update to the latest Tribe plugins, etc, THATS when it breaks. Let me know what you need to help me troubleshoot this issue.
