ParticipantWhen I set the Map to be my default view, nothing shows up. Other views work fine, it is just the map view I’m having issues with (but that is also the one I need)

MemberHey Dwayne,
Thanks for reaching out! Sorry to hear about your issue š
Can you send me the link to see the issue? One usual cause for this not to work is the theme is also including the Google Maps API, Are you familiar with the browser console? If not please check out this link. If there’s a script conflict it should show up there. If you have no idea about all this console thing don’t worry, just send me the link and I’ll take a look at it myself.
If it’s not the default view is it showing up correctly?
it is just the map view Iām having issues with (but that is also the one I need)
Life it self š
Please let me know about those and have a great weekend,
Best,

ParticipantHi Nico – I have a question. Is it possible to copy another email on this request so my developer can follow the conversation without me forwarding emails?
So, in the console, nothing. The page is http://entrepreneurs.webmissioncontrol.com/events
The error log is only showing what I put in above.
And no, the maps aren’t showing up anywhere. The theme is Centric on the Genesis framework. If it is loading the Google Maps API, is there a way to resolve the conflict?

MemberHey Dwayne,
Thanks for the follow-up!
I’m sorry but there’s no easy way of looping in your developer, what is suggested in this cases is setting up a filter to redirect emails from @theeventscalendar.com to your developer email, take a look at this: Automatically forward emails to another account.
Regarding the map view issue I think it can be related to the theme. We are aware there are a couple of incompatibilities between our products and the Genesis Framework. So first thing to do will be to follow the steps provided in our Testing for Conflicts guide. If this is only happening with Centric theme active, the next step will be to try the tips suggested in the following article: Genesis Theme Framework integration.
I saw no conflicts with the Google Maps API, and also the map is showing correctly in the individual event page. So I guess it’s some kind of conflict.
Please let me know about how these tests go,
Best,

I have all plugins disabled except the events calendar and the events calendar pro. I’m using the twentytwelve theme. Still no joy when I set the default view to be events calendar.
Can you help me fix this?

MemberHi Dwayne,
Thanks for the follow-up, and sorry to hear that the map view isn’t working yet š
Can you confirm you tested this with default WordPress theme and no other plugins active? That’s not what I’m seeing in the URL you shared but maybe you tested and then made further changes to the site. What I’m seeing now in that URL is a JS conflict which you can see in this screenshot: https://cloudup.com/cBaSqslB_TC. Next step would be to solved this conflict and see if that makes the Map View work.
Please check on that and let me know,
Thanks,
