I was late on my plugin updates (baaad) and I finally switched to the events aggregator. It works like a charm, yay!
My only issue is that I run Version 4.2.6 of PRO and that I need to manually update to 4.4.19.
Is there a recommended way to do this (I couldn’t find anything in the knowledge base)? I’m afraid that deactivating and deleting 4.2.6 and uploading/deactivating 4.4.19 will mess us my settings and require me to fill the license info again.
Do I still need to have the free Events Calendar plugin installed too? I run Version 4.6.3

Regarding your first question, you will find all information you need regarding manual updates here.
Regarding the second question, yes: you must have both The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO installed and active for everything to work as expected.
