Loss of Event Series Functionality

    Help. Our web site uses Event Calendar and Event Calendar Pro. Our web designer created the site for us and I have not been able to reach him, so I do not have our site license data. We are LifeBridge Church at 17645 West Bernardo Drive, San Diego, CA 92127.

    Today, I updated the ECP plug-in with an update that went live sometime between last Thursday (the last time I logged into the site) and today. After updating, I discovered that the option to create repeating events had disappeared. Worse yet, all of our repeating events have now been converted to solo occurrences, disconnected from all other events in the same series. We plan our calendar out over a year in advance. Most of our events are repeating events.

    How can I restore the old functionality and return the solo events to their original series? Do you have a fix coming? If not, this will require hours of manual labor to fix.

    Hi Kevin,

    Sorry for the trouble!

    It sounds like The Events Calendar was updated to the latest version, but Events Calendar PRO was not.

    If you are unable to update Events Calendar PRO to the latest version, then I would recommend downloading the past version of The Events Calendar that was previously there and installing that in its place. You can find links to all of our previous versions here and then use this article as a guide for how to install it.
