Looking to switch form Event Manager Pro

Hi team,

We are currently using Event Manager Pro but are looking to switch over to Event Calendar Pro but there’s one thing stopping us and that our 30k events! We cant make the switch if it means losing these so my question is….”Is there a way to export/import all of these into Event Calendar Pro?’

I assume there will be I’m just not sure how to go about it, any advice?

Hi, Jon.

We don’t have any official conversion too, but I imagine there are 2 ways you might be able to:

1. Buy Event Aggregator and import their iCal feed. Depending on their iCal output and our import limitations, this may not be 100% inclusive of past events or very far future events (such as over 2 years in the future).
2. Export their data to our CSV format: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/csv-files-options-and-examples/ — this option shouldn’t have any limitations on how far in the past or future, and it’s a free option but likely would require a developer to convert their data into our CSV format.

A third option could be paying a developer to write a conversion tool, such as moving from their custom fields and post types to our data scheme.

If you need some coding help, you may want to ask your developer or reference our documentation and list of known customizers.

Last but not least, we have a pretty great Refund Policy so you can buy one or many of our add-ons and thoroughly test them.
