ParticipantHi and thanks in advance for the help
I am selling a series of live webinars. I have read the support site and realize that EC doesnt support bundling.
What I would like to show the event and then list the dates and session topics ex:
Event – Introduction to Tuscan Cooking – $195. This is being setup as an event, with a single ticket that links to Woo Commerce. I have setup the fields to capture name and e mail addresses.
When they purchase this, they can access the following sessions
Session 1 – April 1 – Ingredients
Session 2 – April 8 – Risotto
Session 2 – April 15 – Pasta
Session 3 – SaucesI tried using the tickets and it made them put in a quantity for each, which I thought was too confusing
All I would like to do is to have the list of sessions appear in the left sidebar, below the other event details.
What i the best way to do this?
Thanks!
Deb

ParticipantHowdy Deb,
I would love to help you find a solution for this.
It is true that we do not support any of Woo’s bundling capabilities. I would love to see us add support for this, but it’s not something we’re working on yet.
What you want should still be possible, but it will require a customizer to build. Do you have someone on staff who is versed in PHP? Or would you perhaps be interested in a List of freelance customizers?
Probably the easiest way for the customizer to build this would be to create their own custom HTML form. The can submit the IDs of those various products to the WooCommerce shopping cart page, from there Woo will add one of each to the cart.
Does that all make sense? Will that work for you? Please let me know.
Cheers!

ParticipantI contacted them and they werent interested in helping
So I tried this., I setup three products in woo commerce.
Webinar 1, 2, and 3 = price $180 each
I think setup COurse 1 in Event Calendar, and setup a ticket for $795 as a woo commerce item.
I save Course 1 and then reopened it again and edited the ticket in Woo Commmerce, changing the product type to Grouped product.
I then went into Webinar 1, 2, 3, and linked them to course 1 as a group product
All good
I then went into Course 1, Entered my ticket name and e mail address and clicked add to car. The message was that it could not be sold.
Can you explain why? Thanks.

ParticipantOh I am sorry to hear your usual customizer won’t be able to help here.
Can you explain why? Thanks.
Absolutely. In order for tickets to work properly they must be a “Simple Product”, and ideally be set to “Virtual”. Since the product you were trying to sell was changed to a group one, it won’t be either of those.
Unfortunately the best solutions right now are mere workarounds, like the one I recommended at the outset. Basically any solution I can think of will either require a customizer of some kind, or you will need to instruct your users on what to add to their cart. I wish I had better news.
Please let me know if you have any more questions.
Cheers!
