ParticipantHi,
Have you changed your ticket logic? In the past we were able to restrict tickets from being seen unless a certain membership level was logged in. This was when the tickets = products. Has that function gone away in an update to your software?

KeymasterHi Penny,
Thanks for reaching out to us!
When a ticket is created, then the appropriate WooCommerce product is created in parallel. This hasn’t changed recently. That is with Tickets but not with RSVPs.
If you need help with this issue then please give me the following info:
- Your system information
- Which plugin are you using to handle memberships?
- A bit more details on how the tickets and the memberships are set up.
Thanks and cheers,

ParticipantThank you for your response. I think I’ve narrowed down the problem. When I use the restrict access function in woocommerce products the selections aren’t saving. The’ve saved in the past, but now when I enter them and then reopen the product the groups are not there. Is this a Woocommerce question?

KeymasterI guess that happens when you want to set up a membership / rule? Yes, this likely would be a WooCommerce question so I’d recommend getting in touch with them.
First you can check if you have the same for non-ticket WooCommerce products as well, to make sure it’s generic issue. If in case this only happens with ticket products, then we might be able to help.

ParticipantHi Andras – I see there’s a way to restrict an entire event, but I’m not seeing where I can restrict selected tickets through your interface, I only see that on the Woocommerce product page.
I tried a little experiment. I restricted two different products. One took the restriction, the other didn’t Not sure what’s going on?

KeymasterHi Penny,
You will not be able to set up restrictions on tickets right on the ticket editing page when you create an event with a ticket.
You should be able to do it though on the WooCommerce ticket product page. Here’s a screencast showing that.

If you are setting it up through WooCommerce > Memberships, then you will likely not see tickets anywhere. You can restrict the tickets through categories.
To do that, create a WooCommerce Product category ‘ticket’ (or whatever you like).
Then add a new membership plan, go to Restrict Products, choose ‘Product categories’ as the type and enter the ‘ticket’ category. (screenshot)
Let me know if this helps.
Cheers,
