ParticipantFirst, I would like to say thank you for such a wonderful plug-in; I am running into an issue that I would hope that you could help me with. I currently have the upcoming featured events listed on our site; but some weeks we have numerous events and they can run down the page and aesthetically takes away from the visual appeal and impact the user experience. What I would like to do is limit the number of featured events that appear and perhaps provide a “show more events” button should the user want to see all upcoming events. Is there a way that I might accomplish this?
Our website is http://www.yuleebaptist.com (titled, Upcoming Featured Events, on the right side of the page just a short scroll down) and the code I am using for the upcoming featured events is:
[tribe_events view=”map” tribe-bar=”false” featured=true]Likewise, I have noticed that events are removed from being displayed prior to the event taking place. For instance, I had our evening worship service as a featured event this past Sunday; the event was shown as it should but the event was not being displayed an hour before the start time. I need the event to stay displayed in the featured event until the event actually starts.
Any help you can provide to me would be greatly appreciated.

MemberHello Nick!
Thanks for reaching out to us and for your kind words! 🙂
I’m sorry for a bit of a delay here. We’ve been having a higher demand in our forums for the last days and it has caused some delays.
I’d be happy to help you with this.
Unfortunately, there is no “limit” attribute you can use in the tribe_events shortcode to limit the amount of events to show, but there is a bit of a hack that Eric shared with us here >Â https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/tribe_events-shortcode-limit-option-not-working/#dl_post-1217300Â that will allow you to set a limit to it.
Now for the “show more events” button, I’m not exactly sure what you want to accomplish, but you could try adding a link after the list of events that points to the main events calendar. Does this help?
Regarding the events being removed prior to the event, it sounds like it could be a bug or conflict of some sort, so to keep things more organized I will kindly ask you to open a new thread for it. This will also allow us to give the proper time and attention to each thread. When doing so, make sure you go through the steps provided in the testing for conflicts guide here so we can discard any theme or plugin conflicts.
Let me know how that goes and don’t hesitate to ask any other questions and I’d be happy to help as much possible.

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
