ParticipantHi, We have a paid version of EC Pro and it looks like that comes with 3 license installs.
Right now we have 3 Environments for our site.. Dev / Staging / Live.
The plugin installed in all 3 sites, however we are now getting a message on the Live Site that says:
“There is new version of The Events Calendar PRO available but your license key is out of installs. Learn more or manage your licenses.”This message doesn’t appear on the Dev site or Staging site.
How can we fix this? It seems like we only have 3 installs.. Also wondering if there is a way to make the Dev / Staging sites not count against the limit.
Please help.
thanks.

ParticipantHunter,
This seems to only work with sites that .dev which is not how our setup works.
We have a business license which is good for 3 domains. So I am unsure why we are getting a license message on the 3rd site saying updates cannot be applied.

ModeratorWelcome back,
According to the Using One License for Live and Dev Sites Knowledgebase article, .dev is just one of many options to choose from. Regardless, have a look at our Moving Your License Keys and Licenses for Multisites Knowledgebase article and let me know if you’re able to get everything working properly. It’s also best you review our Testing for conflicts guide on the site you’re having issues with to eliminate the potential of a theme and/or plugin conflict.
Thanks and have a great rest of the weekend ๐

ParticipantHunter,
This seem to be an issue with the plugin working on Pantheon WordPress hosting. Their development URLS are:
dev-url.com
test-url.com
live-url.comOur license is good for 3 installs, and we are using it on those 3 sites.
Have other customers using Pantehon run into this same issue? I’m wondering if the only solution is to upgrade the license, and if so is there an “upgrade” option since we just bought the 3 licenses.
Thanks.
