ParticipantI have been trying to activate our license key for several weeks now with no success. Our key does not end until 10/16. I read an article on your site that suggested renaming the old directory and then download current version of Events Calendar Pro and upload. I did this and tried to save my license key but it still does not activate.
Please help as this has been very frustrating.

ParticipantWhen trying to save license key, it says it cannot contact server. Therefore, I am not getting automatic updates. I had to do manual update to get current version.

ParticipantThank you for clarifying! This may be the result of server configuration or something; your web host might have configurations in place that are blocking the requests to our server….
To help investigate that, can you reach out to your web host and see if they notice any blocking of these license-activation requests?
Let us know what they say! I’m sorry to recommend this, but I cannot reproduce the problem and this sort of request-blocking is usually the culprit for these sorts of issues.
The other common culprit is a theme or plugin code conflict. That may be going on here, too. To investigate this possibility, you’d unfortunately have to do the steps listed here and then try “activating” the license after EACH STEP → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
I would recommend contacting your web host first as that is simpler and might reveal the problem without doing all of the above testing. But if no progress is made with the web host, the above steps are the next best thing to test for.
Thank you!

ParticipantI logged into our hosting account and found some connections being blocked. I exempted these and everything saved on the license key in WP admin console. For future reference, in an attempt to make sure this does not happen again, can you provide the IP address that needs to be exempted? I have to exempt several IP’s that were being blocked. Not sure which one is yours.

ParticipantHey @Ruby,
You should find some success by white-listing both of the following IP addresses:
• 45.55.7.38
• 162.243.159.176I hope that helps!
