ParticipantPurchased event Plus and Event Calendar Pro, installed them on my testing and QA site. Now I want to put the products into production. Do I need a second license?
I had planned to make changes in our test site and then move those changes to production, but it appears you require I deactivate from our test site. Please advise
As a temporary I have deactivated from our test site but I am still seeing that I can’t activate in my production site.

ParticipantI read your article and am going to change the name of our dev site. In the meantime I have deactivated the license in our DEV so I hope to be able to turn them on in production.
I have tried to turn it on in our production site after turning it off in our development site and it still says we are out of installs.
Event Tickets Plus seems to be ok and I have been able to activate it – as best I can tell
Event Calendar Pro is still saying no installs available after deactivating it on our development or testing site and then activating it on our production siteSorry to be a bother

MemberHello Paul
I’m glad you found a solution! We do support some staging situations. In Using One License for Live and Dev Sites https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/using-one-license-live-dev-sites/, we do specify which domain structures that we currently support for staging sites.
If your site doesn’t match the criteria, you can still use the plugin. You will need to manually run updates, the license may not register (or you could register it there while building and later Move Your License Key https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/moving-your-license-keys/. If you need to contact support during that time, please manually send in your System Info.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Thanks

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
