ParticipantHey @Stavros,
I’m sorry you’re having these issues!
To be clear, all plugin features work out-of-the-box fine even if the license key is not entered.
Now, there is still a problem here, but I just wanted to clarify that.
Speaking of the problem here, I cannot recreate it on my own test site. This makes me suspect a plugin or theme code conflict on your site. To test for this, I would recommend running through the troubleshooting process outlined on this page → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/testing-for-conflicts/
After each step in that process, go back to the settings page in your wp-admin where you can enter the license key; try saving it again, and see if anything improves along the way.
1. What do you find when you do this?
2. Unfortunately, our plugins are not fully, 100% compatible with WPML. I mention this because I notice WPML and numerous add-ons for it in your site’s “System Information.” Now, you may be able to use WPML itself with The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro with little issue if you set it up exactly as according to this article → https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/setting-up-the-events-calendar-with-wpml/
However, bugs may arise and there is even less support for all of the additional WPML sub-plugins you have installed on your site.
I’m sorry to bear this bad news!
Sincerely,
GeorgeFebruary 28, 2016 at 11:44 pm #1083209Stavros
ParticipantHi George,
I follow the above instructions but the serial number is still can’t saved.
Can you check it please?
Can I give you the credentials of my web site to check it?

ParticipantI’m sorry to hear this, @Stavros!
We cannot log into customer sites for any reason, so please do not post any site credentials on this site.
I’m curious, @Stavros—what is the specific thing that happens when you try to save the key? Does the key just disappear? Does a message pop up? If so, what message?
Thank you!

ParticipantI get green text with successful message and click on the button “Save Changes”
When I go to one other page of wp and go back to license page, I can’t see that license that I have type.
How can I be sure that I use the Pro version and not the free?

ParticipantHey Stavros,
How can I be sure that I use the Pro version and not the free?
As soon as The Events Calendar and Events Calendar Pro are active on your site, all of the Events Calendar Pro features are loaded automatically.
Events Calendar Pro is not a pro version of The Events Calendar. Events Calendar Pro is an add-on to The Events Calendar. The Events Calendar provides all of the core “events” features, then you turn on Events Calendar Pro alongside it and Events Calendar Pro activates all of the extra features like Map View and recurring events, etc.
I get green text with successful message and click on the button “Save Changes” When I go to one other page of wp and go back to license page, I can’t see that license that I have type.
Can you try making it so that ALL plugins are deactivated on your site except for only these two plugins:
• The Events Calendar
• Events Calendar ProAnd then activate a default theme like Twenty Sixteen?
When your site is in this specific state, what happens when you try to save the license key again?
Thank you so much for your patience and persistence with this!
George
