I updated the plugin and now all my site displays is the following two errors:
Warning: require_once(/var/www/vhosts/glendalechristian.net/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/common/vendor/autoload_52.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /var/www/vhosts/glendalechristian.net/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/common/src/Tribe/Main.php on line 85
and
Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required ‘/var/www/vhosts/glendalechristian.net/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/common/vendor/autoload_52.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/plesk/php/5.6/share/pear’) in /var/www/vhosts/glendalechristian.net/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/common/src/Tribe/Main.php on line 85
July 20, 2017 at 9:50 am #1323975AlanParticipantMy web host is suggesting I drop your plugin. Will there be a fix soon?
July 20, 2017 at 11:26 am #1324022AlanParticipantFor now I’ve had to disable the plugin.
July 21, 2017 at 6:59 am #1324307AndrasKeymasterHello Alan,
Thanks for using our plugins and for reaching out to us!
I’m sorry about this issue with the seemingly missing file.
I checked your previous threads and I see you had similar issues before.
Did you by chance try manually re-install the plugins and see if that helps? Might be the long directory issue outlined by Brook in this thread.
If that helps then likely it is the long directory name issue. While we are investigating that issue on our side, could you also get in touch with your provider to see if they can adjust a setting for that on the windows server?
Looking forward to hear if the manual update works.
Cheers,
AndrasJuly 21, 2017 at 9:57 am #1324548AlanParticipantThe path for this error is less than 125 characters so I don’t think this is the same issue. If it was, a manual installation would have worked but it did not. I was able to get the free version of the plugin working, but not the latest update for pro.
IF this is related to a long file name system, then this needs to be fixed asap as it is something within your control. I’m happy to reach out to my host, but do you know of any server settings in apache or windows that can address this on the host provider end?
July 25, 2017 at 4:47 am #1325666AndrasKeymasterHey Alan,
I’ll check if there is any setting like that.
The error message says it cannot find this file:
/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/common/vendor/autoload_52.php
Could you please check if this file exists on the server? The file is part of the free The Events Calendar plugin.
This files is usually called / used if you are using php version 5.2. What php version do you have?
If the file exists, then there could be a referencing issue, when the file is called. You can check with your provider if this points to the right folder / file.
/var/www/vhosts/glendalechristian.net/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/common/vendor/autoload_52.php
Let me know please what you find.
Cheers,

This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
