ParticipantHello Friends,
I have just repurchase my Events Calendar pro licence and updated my Events calendar and Facebook add – on.
When i activated the updated Pro my main landing page (www.corklike.com) returns the below error.I have deactivated all the other plugin’s and switched from Enfold to twenty thirteen and the only think that returns my home page to normal is to deactivate the Pro add on.
All the other pages are still working when there pro is installed.

MemberHi,
Sorry for the issues. I can help out.
There is a bug in the system causing this.
There are two temporary fixes until we can get a release to fix this.
If you uncheck this setting here:
Events > Settings > General Tab > “Recurring event instances”
It will resolve the issue and show events on the home page.
The other option is to disable Events from showing in the main loop:
Events > Settings > General Tab > “Include events in main blog loop”
Let me know if that helps out.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Brian,
Thanks a million un-checking both worked a charm.
I have one quick question regarding the slug and Links though –
As it is when i click on the date to see all events in the day, i get: http://corklike.com/index.phpevents/2015-09-12/ and it automatically goes to “path unspecified”
When i add the forward slash betweet index.php & events the link corrects itself.
Is there any way in the settings i can set the slug to being “/events”

MemberHi,
The missing backslash is another bug 🙁
Sorry about that.
That is also being patched along with the other issue.
If all our tests work out we plan to release that patch today.
Do you think that will work for you?

ParticipantI purchased this Plugin today around 10am and have been working to get it to work since. Permalinks not working properly. When clicking on an event redirect to a page that doesn’t exist but! it did work once oddly. Had trouble installing, purchased 3.12 installed then stated can’t use till i installed 3.12.1 which wasn’t Pro…figured out to log the license key worked! but now I have two event calendar plugin’s where one doesn’t work without the other. Paid $89 and loss of productivity is now at $300+ what a mess… Hope your test update fixes these issues if not I will request a refund.

ParticipantHi Brian,
Is the patch an auto update?
Swapping the singular and plural didn’t work for me either.
Any update?

MemberThe patch is not auto update.
We delayed it to fix one more issue and hope to have it out today. That could change again though, but hopefully not.
If you need a fix right away the best thing to do downgrade to 3.11
You can download the older versions from your account here on theeventscalendar.com and older versions of the core plugin here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/the-events-calendar/developers/
And follow these steps to manually change the plugins:
