ParticipantI there,
I’m very satisfied with the plugin, it’s just awesome,
There’s a thing though that it’s driving me nuts…
I have
partyas the events page slug, but I get many urls with 404, like:http://www.site.com//partys/2015-06-01/
http://www.site.com//partys/2015-06-03/
http://www.site.com//partys/2015-06-02/Wich they only what an extra
/,How could I fix this? even with a string_replace(‘//’,’/’, $url) would be great…
Thanks in advance

MemberHi Mandarina and welcome to the forums! We appreciate the kind words and are glad you’re enjoying the plugin so far. 🙂
Man, that is a strange thing. I go to your site’s calendar (/partys) and it looks good. The double slashes (//) only seems to happen when I click on the previous month like from the main calendar (//partys/2015-05/). However, it doesn’t 404 and that extra slash goes away when the page is refreshed. Very weird!
I haven’t been able to reproduce the same issue on my own setup, so would you please try following these steps to see if we can pinpoint a conflict with your theme or another installed plugin? For example, I do see you have WPML installed and there are known issues with that and The Events Calendar.
Let’s start there and see what we find. 🙂
Cheers!

ParticipantProblem persists… I kind of fix it with 301 redirects,
but disabling all other plugins is not a choice..
If you have any ideas, happy to try them!

MemberHi Mandarina, thanks for following up!
One way to test for conflicts is by creating a fresh test site–this will avoid any disruption to your live site and ensure that we’ve effectively got a “clean canvas” to work with.
- Please install a fresh copy of WordPress in a subdirectory (if you have cPanel hosting account there will probably be a one-click install to make this really easy)
- Don’t install anything except The Events Calendar and Events Calendar PRO
- Please also stick to a default theme–again, there’s no need to install anything else just yet!
- Create a few events so we have some test data to work with
- Can you replicate the same problem?
If you find you can replicate the problem under these conditions it would be awesome if you could stop and let us know so we can take a look while the site is still running under default conditions.
Thanks for your help!
