Hi,
in version 3.12.1 of the Events Calendar plugins I discovered several issue which I want to highlight here:
1. Untranslated phrases:
In the Events Community plugin there are 4 phrases that are not translated. See here and screenshot below:

It looks that the phrases need to be added to the repository!2. Textdomains
There are four textdomains used in tribe-events-community-de_DE.po. See first screenshot and here:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/vc6c3adswtjg6jt/Screenshot%202015-11-14%2002.06.47.png?dl=0I’m not 100% sure if this is the right approach (maybe it’s better only one textdomain is used by .po-file), maybe you want to review this.
Best regards,
OliverPS: these issues are still not fixed:

Thanks for reporting these issues. You have two other translation-related threads open at present, and those seem to be valid bugs that we are working.
However, in this case I’m not sure if there’s a bug. “The events calendar”, “Community Events”, and “WP Router” are all separate pieces of software technically, and so a different text domain for each one is actually by design.
Also, what software are you using for the translations in your screenshots?
Cheers,

Are the issues I reported in my three posts fixed in V4.0?
I’m using the Plugin “Codestyling Localization”, which easily shows you errors or missing translations in textdomains:
http://www.code-styling.de/english/development/wordpress-plugin-codestyling-localization-enMaybe this tool helps you to increase the translation quality.
Sorry to say that, but I’m following this plugin for over 2 years and in every version there are translation bugs, which are keeping me busy (in V4.0 I found some new bugs, which haven’t been there in 3.12.x) :-/Best regards,

There are indeed translation bugs with every single update, because with every single update, the .pot file of the plugin changes because the code changes 🙂
This does create issues with each update, which is the nature of translations at this time.
Your originally-reported issues with text domains are not issues, and separate text domains are in fact necessary for proper translation function. As for the issues with missing or incorrect strings, yes, issues where the string was erroneously generated in our plugin code are now resolved.
However, there may still be some missing translations since we’ve only recently published our 4.0 update, and so translators are still submitting new translations to the plugin and such.
I hope this information helps; I appreciate your patience with the process.
Thank you!
