ParticipantI am having a lot of issues with the new event aggregator and I am extremely disappointed with the state of this plugin. I would prefer that your PAYING users not be beta testers for plugins that have not been properly tested, yet released as production.
1. Events that were imported prior to event Aggregator using Facebook import are now duplicated with the Aggregator
2. Since updating to latest version of Events Calendar, New Facebook events that are imported, now have -Blank- as the organizer or are just literally blank instead of using the Organizer listed in the actual event.
3. Since updating to latest version of Events Calendar, the Aggregator has placed my events imported prior to Aggregator in “tribe-ignored” and need to be “restored” individually as there is no bulk restore option.WORDPRESS VERSION 4.6.1
PHP VERSION 5.6.26The Events Calendar PRO version 4.3 by Modern Tribe, Inc.(http://m.tri.be/20)

MemberHi there Joseph,
Thanks for reaching out and sorry to hear you are not having a smooth transition from our legacy importer plugins to Event Aggregator 🙁
Just to clarify we do have a QA team that tests the product. The beta is intended to gather feedback from the community regarding new features, how that integrates with their existing sites, and report any bugs they might encounter.
1. Events that were imported prior to event Aggregator using Facebook import are now duplicated with the Aggregator
This was reported shortly after the release and we could fix this and quickly released a hot fix on Friday evening: The Events Calendar 4.3.0.1.
2. Since updating to latest version of Events Calendar, New Facebook events that are imported, now have -Blank- as the organizer or are just literally blank instead of using the Organizer listed in the actual event.
Can you please send me the URL of an event in which you can see this behaviour? I’ll take a look in my test site.
3. Since updating to latest version of Events Calendar, the Aggregator has placed my events imported prior to Aggregator in “tribe-ignored” and need to be “restored” individually as there is no bulk restore option.
There should have been a notice asking if you wanted to migrate legacy importer data to Event Aggregator. If this is still an issue please let me know and I’ll try my best to craft a snippets to solves this.

I cannot send you a url to an event without an organizer as I will not publish that crap on the site. They are sitting in “Pending”

I did the migration.

MemberThanks for following up Joseph…

I was referring to the Facebook Event URL from which the organizer is not getting imported. Sorry for the confusion here.
3. Since updating to latest version of Events Calendar, the Aggregator has placed my events imported prior to Aggregator in “tribe-ignored” and need to be “restored” individually as there is no bulk restore option.
I tried to reproduce this locally but all the previosly imported events were still published. Do you think a snippet to restore all events from “tribe-ignored” will help? Also do you notice something particular with the events moved to ignored, or did all imported events got “ignored” ?
Thanks,

ParticipantTo be honest, this issue is the least of my worries. The other threads are FAR more important to me. Please view those. I have thousands of comments being created, thousands of posts for tribe events, and thousands of entries in post meta. These entries have brought my site to a complete crawl because of the db entries. Please look at those first and let me know how to remove all of this garbage.

ParticipantAre you insane here in Tribe? You are beta testing a plugin that is installed in live websites and produces so many issues? I cannot import any events since you did that change. Seems like I cannot bulk run the import for all Sources I have but only one by one? Do you think we have hours to spend every day just to hit the “Run Import” in every single source? Seriously?
My site is incapable of importing events after your change. And why didn’t you make that plugin a separate one but you aggressively changed the functionality of FB import previous plugin?October 19, 2016 at 12:17 pm #1179356Nico
MemberThanks folks and sorry for the hassle! I’ve talking with the rest of the support team about your cases and it looks like you have other threads opened in which you are getting help. Nevertheless I wanted to address Christos comment:

Totally not! We had a beta testing period for both Events Aggregator and for all 4.3 plugins (you can read more about this here: http://betas.theeventscalendar.com/). Before opening the beta, the plugin were tested by our QA team internally. In both beta’s we gathered feedback regarding new features and bug reports as well. This lead to a better final version which was tested by our QA team once again before release.
Hope the issues can be resolved soon,
