ParticipantI was one of the users affected by the original bug. While the issue was resolved with the hotfix, we are now experiencing a new issue. The event location address is being duplicated in some events and in other events we are not able to add a location, thus the Google Map does not show. See below for an example of the results. We are also receiving the same error as before and an additional Google Maps API Warning JS error. The JS error is showing in util.js
Error received: Google Maps API warning:
NoApiKeys https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/error-messages#no-api-keys util.js:211Example of duplicate addresses:
https://www.allsaintsbh.org/calendar/2016-12-18/The event log is still showing these warnings as well:
2016-12-14 12:19:36 Invalid instance of a recurring event was requested ($1) redirecting to $2https://www.allsaintsbh.org/calendar/the-monday-meal-2015-11-30/all/ warning Tribe__Events__Pro__Main::detect_recurrence_redirectDecember 15, 2016 at 10:13 am #1206558Cliff
MemberHi, Douglas.
In our forums we keep our threads focused on just one issue at a time to ensure we fully answer each of your questions/issues. Please keep this in mind for the future and start a new thread for your additional questions from this thread. Thanks for your understanding, and I’ll answer only your first question.
It sounds like you need to enter your Google Maps API key at wp-admin > Events > Settings > APIs
Please follow this KB article to get that up-and-running and let me know if this resolves that NoApiKeys console error.

ParticipantCliff,
As far as I could tell, this is one issue. Since it is all address/map/hotfix related, it was logical to assume they may be related to the same cause. I spent four days trying to track down two other issues on two different threads after the updates and one of them came down to a bug in the plugin. After applying the hotfix, I ended up with this new issue and I am still getting the same warnings in the help event log as I was before the hotfix. I felt it was prudent to supply that information.
To answer your question, the map api did correct the error with the JS but had no effect on being able to save a venue to an event or the duplicate addresses. I either have another plugin conflict after the hotfix was applied or an additional bug and I am a little on the annoyed side after fours days of trying to correct the issues so I apologize if I am getting a little testy about it. I really don’t want to spend more time trying to test for conflicts yet again but I may have no choice.

ParticipantSorry for my previous post. Just stressing out and taking it out on support. I corrected the duplicate address issue but I am still having an issue with adding a venue to the events. It just doesn’t want to save. I will create a new thread for this issue.
Thank you again and once again I apologize.
Cheers,

MemberNo worries at all, Douglas.
I hope your other issue(s) get resolved very soon and easily too. 🙂
