Issue with Event Description Field

Hi,

My client sent me an email regarding the website I’m developing using The Events Calendar Pro and Community Events Addon.

The site is http://www.rivercal.org/

Here’s the issue:

There is an occasional/regular glitch in being able to enter an Event Description on RiverCal. It seems to happen on the first event attempted, after logging in. Repeated attempts to submit, where it tells you a description is required, eventually result in the Description text box being available to write in. However, the initial attempts have an inaccessible description text box (it’s not there and/or it’s not editable).

Kind of odd sounding, I know. When I first started entering events this morning it did it and I thought it was a permanent issue, then it finally allowed me to enter. After that it was fine every time. Then I logged off and logged back on and it did the same thing.

Is there a fix for this?

Thanks for using The Events Calendar, I’m happy to help! In order to help, I would like to get some more information from you, if I can:

-First, if you could please test for conflicts by following this documentation? Let me know what you find. This will help me determine how deeply we need to look into the specific configuration of your site, or if this is a bug. 🙂

-Can you send me a link to your site so I can see this firsthand? I’m a visual person, and I can often be more helpful in giving solutions to problems I can see and interact with.
