ParticipantHi! I’m using Apppresser to turn my Events Calendar Pro website into an app. It’s working great! However there is one snag: The maps on my pages only load when I use a “no-ajax” class in my menu links. This means slow loads… This is what Apppresser support tells me: “Your maps plugin is not compatible with ajax loading. Something that is required for your plugin to work is likely not being loaded within the ajax request causing you to be stuck with just a grey square.”
Is there anything I can do about this? I know you can’t help me with issues with other plugins, but any help you can offer would be so great. Thanks so much!

ModeratorHello and welcome back,
Sounds like a cool idea! We’re pretty limited on how much support we can provide in these instances (see Forum Rules) – but you could disable the ajax by adding this snippet to the bottom of your theme’s functions.php file.
Let me know if this helps and if you need further assistance, you’ll probably need to hire a developer to get the customizations you need. We’ve got a list of customizers who might be up for the task.
Thank you for understanding our position on the matter and best of luck with the app.

ParticipantThanks so much Hunter. That’s a great solution, and I appreciate it. If you could please let me know though (I’m not a developer, have a limited understanding of this stuff) – is turning off Ajax going to majorly slow down the site or cause any other problems? Thanks again 🙂

ParticipantI just tried the code, and realized – it’s single venue pages and map view that I’m having issues with. Would you mind please providing the code to disable Ajax for those? Thanks so much again.

ModeratorHi and welcome back,
Check out https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/is_singular/ for ‘tribe_venue‘ post type and https://theeventscalendar.com/function/tribe_is_map/ for the map ajax.
Let me know how it goes. Cheers!
