GuestIs it possible to create an event without end time (NOT a recurring event). Example – a single day event – say 12th Sep – Start time is 10am and the event ends on 12th Sept, but NO end time is applicable. I get several events like that to be hosted. And this is a very crucial feature for me to decide to buy the PRO version.

MemberHi there Rajiv,
Thanks for getting in touch with us and for your interest in our products 🙂
While it’s not possible to create an event without end time, you can hide this from the calendar o event page. In fact you can hide the end date too if you want.
Do you think this will work for your site?
Please let me know about it,
Best,

GuestThanks for the update Nico, just to be clear, I’m sharing links which are live on my website and which will make it very clear on the requirement. Please look at the event on 10th Sep 2016.
http://www.gospelinchennai.info/calendar/ – You can switch to MONTH view – the Revival Prayer event will show only 10am as start time
If you click the event, on the event page also, you will only find 10am as start time and no end time

Please confirm whether similar – exact views are possible in The events calendar.
There are other events which have both start time and end time.

MemberThanks for following up Rajiv!
Yes, the same can be achieved in our calendar. Again, you’ll need to add an end date & time at event creation and somehow indicate that event to ignore the end time (by adding a custom category o tag, or using additional fields or similar). Then a snippet (or template override) will be needed to hide the end time for those ‘marked’ events.
Please let me know if there’s anything else I can help you with,

GuestIs there an admin login on your demo site, that I can try this out…since it is not coming out very clearly to me.

MemberHey Rajiv,
Unfortunately not but while we don’t have a backend demo, you can go ahead and purchase the products for testing. If you decide they are not what you are looking for, you can ask for a full refund within 30 days of purchase. For more information take a look at our refund policy.
I guess this is the only way to see if it works for you 🙂

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
