Is it possible to: allow edits/flags of events

Howdy MT support.

We have TEC Pro and CE installed.

What we want to do, is kinda add some basic Wiki functionality.

By that, I mean, we want to allow anyone to update events, with the change going into moderation, or being immediately published (possibly based on whether they’re a logged in user or not). Perhaps, exposing a WordPress login/register button on each event or at link to login/register, with a redirect back to the edit screen?

It would be great to let people “flag” issues with an event too.

I realise this is getting beyond the core capabilities of TEC, so if anyone has a better idea of how to achieve the awesome capabilities of TEC Pro (calendaring, submissions in particular) with an edit functionality for the general public, I am all ears.

BTW, it would be awesome to see this kind of functionality built out stock. Perhaps admin could set the number of accepted/approved posts at which point a user is trusted for immediate publishing.

Is this possible? Happy to hack any code with gists or whatever snippets.

PS you guys should offer customisation on a paid basis for little jobs like this….maybe?

This is an interesting feature you are looking to add and I could see it being possible, but only by a customization.

However, for the most part customizations are beyond the support we can provide, unfortunately.

If you would like to request that feature please head to our UserVoice Page and add your own or upvote that feature as they will increase the chances of it being added to a future version.
