KeymasterHi Nitha,
Thanks so much for reaching out!
All of your featured events live at your-site.com/events/featured (for example), so you can add a link on your homepage to that URL, or you could make that link your homepage if you prefer.
This article might be useful to you as well:

Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,

ParticipantThanks Jaime. I still need to know how to show the featured events and the blogs first before the events are displayed..
also, how do I default to display events from the user’s current location (nearest to far)May 16, 2018 at 4:57 am #1531517Jaime Marchwinski
KeymasterHi Nitha,
Where are you looking to display these? Are you referring to the homepage or on your main events page?
Please also note that support for customizations is limited as stated in our support policy.
In any case, I’d recommend starting off by taking a look at our Themer’s Guide, which can show you which templates can be edited and copied in order to achieve the results that you are looking for.
As far as displaying events based on a user’s current location, unfortunately we don’t have that feature currently available.
If this functionality is a requirement for your intended project, I’d suggest that a third-party developer would be the best way to make this feature happen on a short timeline. ? We maintain a list of developers who work with our plugins on our Knowledgebase here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/find-a-customizer/
You can also add this idea to our Feature Requests, as we tend to implement ideas based on customer feedback, so your input is greatly appreciated:

Let me know if you have any other questions on this topic!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHi Nitha,
Okay, good to know.
As I had previously noted, support for customizations is limited as stated in our support policy.
So what you can do is to edit the template for whichever view you are using (Month View, List View, etc.) to include the other elements that you’d like to include. You can use our Themer’s Guide as a starting point, which can help you to locate the template that you need:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/themers-guide/
Let me know if that helps!
Thanks,
Jaime

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
