GuestHi, I’m very interested in the Events Calendar PRO plugin. It seems to pretty much do everything that I want it to do.
By going through the support forums, I noticed that it is possible to integrate with WooCommerce plugin (which is great).
My question – will it work with the WooCommerce Subscriptions extension?

MemberGood afternoon VK and welcome to the Events Calendar forum!
Thank you for your interest in our products.
We’ll be glad to answer your questions.By going through the support forums, I noticed that it is possible to integrate with WooCommerce plugin (which is great).
Yes, we do integrate with WooCommerce, but you will require our Event Tickets Plus add-on to do so: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/
My question – will it work with the WooCommerce Subscriptions extension?
That is a great question. I guess it will largely depend on what implementation (requirements) you have in mind. Could you expand on that ?
Technically, tickets are simple virtual products that do not display in the catalog by default.
Best regards,
Geoff B.

GuestHey Geoff,
Thanks for your reply.
I run classes that recur every week on specific days at specific times. I get my clients to pay monthly via a subscription so that they automatically get charged every month.
It would be great to allow them to use the Events Calendar PRO to schedule their recurring appointments, make temporary time slot changes, or even change the time slot for the rest of the recurring appointments.
I believe that Events Calendar PRO can already do all that (correct me if I’m wrong).
I’m just looking to see if there is an integration that only allows them to book their appointments or have access to editing the appointments only if they have an existing paid subscription.
Do you get what I mean?

MemberGood evening VK,
Thank you for writing back and clarifying what your requirements are.
It would be great to allow them to use the Events Calendar PRO to schedule their recurring appointments, make temporary time slot changes, or even change the time slot for the rest of the recurring appointments.
The Events Calendar Pro let’s you create and edit events (from WordPress’ backend).
Another one of our add-ons, Community Events lets users create and edit only their own events on the front-end of the site (after logging in): https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-community-events/The only issue with both of these approaches is that the user can create events at any time they choose. In other words, this is not a resource management / booking system (if you have certain time slots, people or even rooms that you want people to book based on availability)
If there is no limit on the events your users can create and change, then I would recommend both the Events Calendar and Community Events.
You could limit access to a specific user role tied to your Subscriptions plugin: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/admin-roles-and-permissions/
If on the other hand you are looking for a booking system, you could always do that using Event Tickets Plus: https://theeventscalendar.com/product/wordpress-event-tickets-plus/
You would simply need to create events for each available timeslot and add “tickets” (the resource they are booking) with a quantity of 1.
This way you could book the resource at specific times and cancel your “purchase” at any time.
Let me know if that helps.
Have a great day!

KeymasterHey there! This thread has been pretty quiet for the last three weeks, so we’re going to go ahead and close it to avoid confusion with other topics. If you’re still looking for help with this, please do open a new thread, reference this one and we’d be more than happy to continue the conversation over there.
Thanks so much!
