ParticipantHello,
I am having a hard time figuring out how to get my info to load correctly in the info box on my individual events page.you can take a look on the link below…
http://wordpressskils.website/northville/event/open-class-12-seats-available/ I attached a picture if the link won’t load.
Some of my url’s and email gets cut off. How can I enlarge this box so it all displays correctly?
Thx!

MemberHi Dave
I’m sorry that is happening. I think I can get this resolved quickly. However, when I visit your site, the only Details info that I can see is the date & time. Are the other fields blank at this time?
Thanks,
Courtney πApril 25, 2017 at 7:15 am #1274028Dave
ParticipantHi Courtney,
Thanks for looking into this. So, that may be another issue Iβm having then. Iβve updated the info twice now and itβs saved initially but later reverted back to just the date and time.I updated again so the info should be in there at this time..

MemberHi Dave
I’m still seeing the same thing π I’ve cleared my local cache. Is your site by chance running caching on your server or using a CDN?
Does the saving issue happen if you deactivate all other plugins and roll back to a default theme like Twenty Seventeen? (see Testing for Conflicts).
I’m really hoping we can clear this up for you.
Thanks

ParticipantHi Courtney,
I think I know what’s happening. I have my calendar linked to google cal/ical so the workers at the shop can just update ical and it’ll update The Events Cal. I manually update TEC on the backend but then when the events refresh it defaults back to whatever it grabs from iCal. So that’s why it keeps reverting back… I’m guessing. So, I think I have to decided between just letting TEC grab all our inputed data from iCal and manually inputting our dates on TEC in the WordPress control panel. Is this correct? If I stay as is, I’m just limited in that I can’t add all the details automatically. And if I want to add all the details I’ll need to input in TEC in WordPress so it’s just a little bit more involved…
Can you just verify that this is all correct? If so, I’ll need to figure out which we want to do and then revisit the other issue of the box cutting of info details.
Thx!

MemberHi Dave
Can you check your settings at Events Β» Settings Β» Imports Β» Event Update Authority Β» Import events but preserve local changes to event fields (select this one).
That might be the issue here.
Then we can finally resolve the original CSS issues.
Thanks

ParticipantCourtney,
You’re awesome… I think that should help our info stick and solve a couple of problems.. But yeah, now we get to go back to the info box. It should be all set this time… take a look and let me know what you think we can to do make it look right..Thx!

MemberAh, now I can see what you mean Dave π
Can you test how your page looks when you change these settings: Events Β» Settings Β» Display Β» Default stylesheet used for events templates & Events template.
I’m not sure if these will resolve the issue, but am hoping it does.
Thanks

ParticipantIt looks to me like it’s all set to default already? I don’t see that exact heading you mentioned..
Thx!

MemberHi Dave
One tab over to “Display” should look like this:

This determines how our plugins interact with your theme. You might want to check both:
- Default stylesheet used for events templates
- Events template
Let me know if the fixes up any of that spacing. I really hope it does, as this seems to be an issue with the theme.
Thanks

MemberHi Dave
There is a chance that your theme has overridden some of our plugin’s settings. You could reach out to your theme’s support to see if that is the case. That might also help solve why the URL doesn’t fully display. I wish I had a better solution, but what you are seeing doesn’t happen with most other themes with our plugin.
Thanks
