Hello –
I’m referencing https://theeventscalendar.com/support/forums/topic/having-problems-with-google-calendar-imports/, since a problem cropped up while I was away and the ticket closed.
The ical calendar: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/portageps.org_5075626c69632d4c4345%40resource.calendar.google.com/public/basic.ics
Imported the “Mid Winter Break” that is on the calendar from Feb 23 – Feb 26 as Feb 26 – Mar 1. Several of our sites that reference other calendars had a similar issue where the Feb 23 – Feb 26 event got imported as Feb 26 – Mar 1, causing confusion for our website users. All of our sites are configured identically from the above linked thread, just a different iCal source for each calendar. All Google Calendar sources have a timezone set correctly to match what is expected in WordPress. We’re just at a loss because on re-imports when we clear the event, the problem crops up immediately and doesn’t resolve itself. We’re forced to manually configure the calendar entries, which is not ideal, because we key other items off the single iCal.
